Dinosaurs began regulating body temperature 180 mn yrs ago: Study
Dinosaurs likely developed ability to regulate body temperature around 180 million years ago. They were earlier believed to be slow-moving creatures that relied on sun's heat to regulate temperature. On analysing 1,000 fossils, climate and geography, researchers found theropods and ornithischians moved to colder climates during Early Jurassic, where they likely started generating internal heat.
