Director Bryan Singer loses BAFTA nomination in sexual abuse row

The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has removed director Bryan Singer's name from the 'Bohemian Rhapsody' nomination for Outstanding British Film amid accusations that he sexually assaulted minors. Singer's nomination will remain suspended until the allegations are looked into, BAFTA stated. BAFTA further clarified that the film and others nominated for it will remain eligible for awards.
