Discolouration on Moon could be a form of 'sunburn': NASA

A NASA research has suggested that discolouration seen on the Moon's surface could be a form of 'sunburn'. Researchers found that unlike Earth, which has a strong magnetic field that acts as "sunscreen" to protect it from solar winds, the Moon only has small magnetic field pockets. Moon's magnetic field can't completely protect humans from solar winds, a researcher said.
