Disney announces cast of its Aladdin live-action remake

Disney has announced the cast of its upcoming live-action remake of the 1992 film 'Aladdin'. While actor Mena Massoud will be seen playing the lead role of Aladdin, actress Naomi Scott has been finalised to play Princess Jasmine, Aladdin's love interest. Meanwhile, actor Will Smith will be seen portraying Genie in the film.
