Disney created Donald Duck film for anti-Nazi propaganda

Cartoon character Donald Duck once featured in an American anti-Nazi propaganda film produced by the Walt Disney Company in 1943. The film shows Nazi Germany as leading character Donald Duck's nightmare, who embraces the Statue of Liberty upon waking up and realizing he is an American citizen. The short film was awarded the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film.
