Disney manager gets 2.5 yrs jail term for smuggling drugs in Russia

A judge in Moscow has sentenced 46-year-old Walt Disney Manager Daterao Jugal Sudhir to 2.5 years in prison after he was found guilty of drug possession and smuggling. Sudhir arrived in Russia from Qatar in January 2026 and was apprehended at airport after THC-infused gummies were found in his baggage. He claimed gummies were prescribed by doctor after brain surgery.
