Disney names Susan Arnold as its 1st woman Chairman in 98-year history
Walt Disney has elected a woman to become its chairman for the first time in its 98-year history. Susan Arnold, who has been a board member for 14 years, will succeed Bob Iger as Chairman on December 31. Iger, who stepped down as Disney's CEO in 2020 after 15 years in the role, will leave the company later this month.
