Disney to cut several hundred jobs in HR and technology dept: Report

Disney is laying off several hundred employees across human resources and technology departments, Reuters reported citing sources. This comes after the company offered a voluntary early-retirement programme to employees who were at least 50 years old and had spent 10 years at Disney. The company laid off around 1,000 employees from marketing and other departments in April.
