Disney to lay off thousands, managers told to cut expenses by 20%: Report

Disney is planning to cut thousands of jobs and asked managers to cut annual expenses by 20% through job eliminations or expense reductions, Bloomberg reported citing sources. It added that some of the savings would be reinvested into film, technology as well as the theme parks and cruise ship businesses. Disney reportedly had 231,000 employees at the end of 2025.
