The nine-time champion won the match in two hours and six minutes. Fourth-seeded Djokovic will now play against Andrey Rublev after the fifth seed saved two match points to defeat Dane Holger Rune 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, 4-6, 7-6(11-9).
