Djokovic ends his sixth year as World No 1, equals Sampras' record

Serbia's Novak Djokovic finished at the top of men's tennis ranking on Sunday for the sixth time in a decade to equal the record set by former American tennis player Pete Sampras. Apart from 2020, Djokovic ended as World No 1 in 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2018. Meanwhile, Sampras topped the rankings from 1993 till 1998.
