Djokovic equals record for winning most Grand Slam titles, gets ₹25-crore prize money

World number two Novak Djokovic defeated world number three Daniil Medvedev 6-3, 7-6(7-5), 6-3 in the final to win his fourth US Open title. With this, Djokovic equalled former women's world number one tennis player Margaret Court's record for winning most Grand Slam singles titles (24). Djokovic won a prize money of $3 million (around ₹25 crore) for his victory.
