Djokovic retires from Aus Open semi after 1st set due to injury, Zverev reaches final

Twenty four-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic retired from the Australian Open 2025 semi-final after first set due to injury, resulting in Alexander Zverev reaching an Australian Open final for the first time. Zverev won the first set 7-6(7-5) after which Djokovic decided not to continue. Djokovic was playing the match with a heavily-strapped left thigh.
