DM in Uttarakhand issues notice to Indian Army amid row over loud music at event in Badrinath

Amidst row over use of loud music during cultural festival at Badrinath Dham, Chamoli DM Gaurav Kumar said that all activities were organised by Indian Army. "A notice has been issued to Army asking why such...event was organised in Badrinath Dham area without prior permission," he said. However, reports claimed the event was organised in collaboration with Chamoli district administration.
