DMart appoints former SEBI chief CB Bhave as new Chairperson

Radhakishan Damani-owned DMart's retail parent Avenue Supermarts has announced the appointment of Chandrashekhar B Bhave as the new Chairman of its board. Bhave was earlier the Chairman of SEBI from 2008 to 2011. He has also been on the boards of Mahindra and Mahindra Financial Services, Vistaar Financial Services and other companies. His appointment will be effective from April 1.
