DMK MLA Markendiyan arrested over remarks against CM Vijay

DMK MLA GR Markendiyan has been arrested over his alleged defamatory and threatening remarks against Tamil Nadu CM C Joseph Vijay. Speaking at a public meeting on July 18, he said, " He [CM] says he will lock the doors of the Assembly. If he locks them, his bones will be crushed," adding, "Let him lock the Assembly and see."
