DMK suspends actor Radha Ravi over derogatory remarks on Nayanthara

Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) has temporarily suspended actor Radha Ravi from the party for his alleged derogatory remarks against actress Nayanthara. DMK president MK Stalin said the party upholds women's rights and Ravi's views were unacceptable. Talking about Nayanthara being cast as a Goddess, Ravi had said, "Today...they can...cast someone you want to call towards you when you see them."
