DMK to skip INDIA bloc meeting over rift with Congress

DMK has announced that it will not attend the INDIA bloc meeting scheduled in New Delhi on June 8 over the party's rift with Congress. DMK said that the sentiments of DMK cadres were "deeply hurt" by the "betrayal" committed by the Congress. Notably, Congress had left its alliance with DMK to support Tamil Nadu CM Vijay's TVK after elections.
