DMK workers blacken Hindi text at TN station, detained

Several youths, allegedly from the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), defaced the name of Tamil Nadu's Gudiyattam railway station that was written in Hindi on Wednesday. As per a report, the youths were later detained. The incident comes amid DMK's announcement of a state-wide protest against Home Minister Amit Shah's remarks about Hindi being a "unifying" language.
