DMK yet to act after video appears to show MLA attacking reporter

A video purportedly showing Srirangam DMK MLA Palaniyandi assaulting two video journalists during coverage of alleged illegal quarrying in Tamil Nadu’s Karur district has triggered outrage. While police denied reports of abduction and said the journalists filmed a quarry using a drone without permission, the video released by the channel appears to show the MLA attacking them at the site.
