DNA computer that solves maths without wires or continuous power developed

Maynooth University researchers have developed a first-of-its-kind DNA computer, which can perform calculations like addition, multiplication and division without needing wires or continuous electricity. Unlike conventional computers that run on silicon chips, it uses DNA strands in a salt-water droplet and is activated by a brief heat pulse. This opens new possibilities for biological computing.
