After children missed school due to traffic jam in Bengaluru, Biocon chief Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw tweeted, "Do the authorities even care? Citizens will have to keep shaming them into action." She stated that "ground-level officials" need to be held accountable. Meanwhile, ex-Infosys Director Mohandas Pai asked, "Is there hope at all in Bengaluru? What are police doing to clear traffic?"
