Doc arrested for forging wife's signature to get loans worth ₹2.90 cr
Delhi Police arrested a 58-year-old doctor, identified as Sudhakar Arya, for allegedly forging his wife's signature and ID cards to mortgage their joint property and get loans worth ₹2.90 crore. The couple, both doctors, has been living separately since 2006. The matter came to light when a bank rejected Arya's wife's loan application for her daughter's higher studies.
