Doctor films cockroach during surgery to show hygiene issues

A doctor at a Thane-based hospital halted a surgery to film a cockroach in the operation theatre, to highlight the hospital's hygiene conditions. Dr Sanjay Baranwal alleged that he had repeatedly complained to the authorities about the deteriorating hygiene conditions. He further alleged that many patients who were treated at the hospital also complained about post-operative infections.
