Doctor removes wrong organ during surgery in US, 70-year-old man dies

A 70-year-old man in the US died on an operating table after the doctor mistakenly removed the wrong organ during surgery, the New York Post reported. The doctors convinced the man to undergo surgery for abnormality of the spleen after he experienced lower left abdominal pain. However, the operation led to his death after the doctor mistakenly removed his liver.
