Doctor seen beating up patient in Shimla govt hospital suspended

The 31-year-old doctor who was seen assaulting a patient inside a hospital ward in Himachal Pradesh's Shimla has been suspended by the state government. A video of the assault, which took place in Indira Gandhi Medical college (IGMC) and hospital, was widely circulated online. A high-level inquiry has also been initiated into the incident.
