Doctor shares 3 rules to stay safe in heatwave

Dr Vimal Pahuja, metabolic physician, said heat illness is the result of accumulated physiological stress. He shared three rules to follow to prevent heat exhaustion. These include restricting outdoor activity to before 8 AM or after 6 PM to avoid peak heat hours, eating smaller, more frequent meals and taking 10-minute cool shower or applying wet cloths to pulse points.
