Doctored video falsely links Owaisi to pro-Pakistan remarks

A viral video claimed that AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi praised Pakistan's recent military action against India and also threatened to support Pakistan. However, DFRAC's fact-check found the video to be digitally altered. Owaisi's original speech, delivered on 4 January 2026 in Mumbai, contains no such statement and instead refers to U.S. actions in Venezuela.
