Doctors' health declines as hunger strike enters 9th day in Bengal

Junior doctors' hunger strike in West Bengal following the RG Kar rape-murder incident entered the ninth day on Sunday. Three of the doctors who were observing 'fast unto death' in Kolkata and Siliguri have so far been hospitalised after their condition deteriorated. The doctors have urged people to observe "Arandhan" (no cooking) on Sunday to show solidarity for their cause.
