Doctors observe strike against 'bond money' policy in Shimla

Doctors of Resident Doctors Association on Monday observed two hours "pen-down strike" outside the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital in Shimla while protesting against Himachal Pradesh's 'bond money' policy. The HP government has mandated MBBS doctors, who want to pursue higher medical courses, to submit bank guarantee of ₹5 lakh. The doctors are also demanding hike in their stipends.
