Doctors offered free stay if they treat patients in Karjat

District Collector of Maharashtra's Raigad, Dr Vijay Suryawanshi, has offered free stay in Karjat to doctors if they volunteer and conduct camps in the town on weekends. Suryawanshi came up with the idea after a girl died due to malnutrition in the town. Reportedly, a sub-district hospital in Karjat has only two doctors to take care of around 200 patients.
