Doctors said I had 2 weeks to live: Director Anurag Basu on battling blood cancer

Filmmaker Anurag Basu, speaking about his battle with blood cancer in 2004, revealed that doctors said he had two weeks left to live. "My condition started deteriorating rapidly...My platelets were decreasing," he said in an episode of Unfiltered By Samdish. "The day I got scared was when my mom and dad stopped facing me in the hospital," Anurag stated.
