DocuSign to lay off 9% of employees as part of restructuring plan

DocuSign will lay off 9% of its staff (over 650 employees) as part of a major restructuring plan, the San Francisco-based electronic-signature company said on Wednesday. As per DocuSign, the restructuring plan will help "improve operating margin and support the company's growth and profitability objectives". This comes days after DocuSign hired ex-Google executive Allan Thygesen as its next CEO.
