Does SC need 50 more yrs to decide: Alvi on AMU's minority status

Congress' Rashid Alvi reacted after SC overturned its 1967 verdict denying Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) minority status but added that minority tag status will be decided by a three-judge bench. It is regretful that SC's decision was changed after 55 years, Alvi said. "Still, SC is saying....a bench...will decide [on minority tag status]...do they need 50 more years?" he added.
