Dog, cat flown 12 km by drone from war zone in Ukraine

Ukrainian soldiers used a drone to rescue a dog and a cat from a war zone area near Kupyansk as Russian troops advanced. The animals were flown out about 12 kilometres and later taken in by troops. The 14th Separate Mechanised Brigade carried out operation, with an animal welfare group saying it was risky but safer than leaving them behind.
