Dogecoin hits record high after tweets from Elon Musk, Snoop Dogg

Dogecoin, a cryptocurrency named after an internet meme, touched a record high on Monday after world's richest person Elon Musk and rapper Snoop Dogg tweeted about it. It climbed to 8.2 US cents and a market capitalisation of $10.5 billion during Asian trading hours before pulling back. It was ranked among the top 10 cryptocurrencies by market value.
