Don't ask about rank, caste: IIT-B as it updates anti-discrimination guidelines

IIT-Bombay updated its anti-discrimination guidelines after the death of a student on campus who was allegedly caught cheating. It warned students against asking peers about their caste, admission category or entrance exam ranks, saying such questions could promote bias. It also prohibited casteist, sexist, hateful or abusive messages online and warned of strict action against violations.
