A passenger who was on IC 814 flight, hijacked in 1999, said she didn't understand why people are making a controversy on the terrorists' names in the Netflix series. "This is based on a real event and the names were also factual," said Pooja Kataria. Describing her experience, she said, "We were given nothing to eat, except a small apple."
