Don’t say anything yet: WH Press Secretary’s note to George W Bush after 9/11

After the 9/11 terror attacks unfolded, former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer handed then-US President George W Bush a note saying, “Don’t say anything yet.” Bush was reading a book to elementary school students in Florida when he received it. Fleischer later said he wanted the President to be fully briefed before speaking to the press.
