Don't slot India as Small Language Model nation: Sarvam Co-founder

Sarvam AI Co-founder Pratyush Kumar cautioned against placing India into a "small language model country" narrative. For years, the tech industry asked if India could build foundational systems at all, and now that question has been settled, Kumar added. At India AI Impact Summit, Sarvam unveiled 30-billion-parameter and 105-billion-parameter models, a suite of voice-based tools, and AI glasses.
