Don't want to be politically correct: 'LotR' prequel director on all-white cast

Andy Serkis, the director of 'The Lord of the Rings' film prequel 'The Hunt for Gollum', defended his casting choices. When asked about the film's all-white cast, Andy said, "Yes, there have been criticisms...But we don't think we'll be doing a politically correct 'just-casting-for-the sake-of-casting-and-ticking-boxes' version of the film." Every major cast member announced so far has been white.
