The TIME magazine on Wednesday named US President-elect Donald Trump as the Person of the Year 2016. "The revolution he stirred feels fully American," the magazine said in its announcement. It added that Trump was selected "for reminding America that demagoguery feeds on despair and that truth is only as powerful as the trust in those who speak it".
