Donald Trump's bid to end US birthright citizenship blocked by judge

US District Court Judge John Coughenour has temporarily blocked US President Donald Trump's bid to end birthright citizenship in the US. He called Trump's executive order "blatantly unconstitutional" during a hearing. This comes after four Democratic-led states (Washington, Arizona, Illinois & Oregon) asked for the order to be paused while the federal court considers the states' legal challenge.
