Donation centre for old clothes inaugurated at Delhi Metro station

Delhi CM Rekha Gupta on Monday inaugurated the first 'Arpan Kendra', an old clothes donation centre, at Punjabi Bagh West Metro station. Under the initiative, donated clothes will be reused, recycled or upcycled to reduce textile waste, promote a circular economy and create livelihood opportunities for women. Ten Arpan Kendras will be set up at major Delhi Metro stations.
