Don't cancel train tickets, you'll get refund automatically: IRCTC

IRCTC has asked passengers not to cancel the online tickets for the trains that have been cancelled and assured them that they will get a full refund automatically. "If the user cancels his ticket, there are chances he may get less refund," IRCTC said. Earlier, Railways had extended the time to three months to cancel counter tickets till June 21.
