Reacting to Pakistan captain Babar Azam claiming a cousin once refused to lend him shoes during his formative years in cricket, Umar Akmal, one of Babar's cousins, said, "I've no idea which cousin refused to give shoes to Babar." He added, "We've always offered support to relatives who wanted to play cricket. I've never turned down a request."
