Don't review Thapar's position: US Historical Association to JNU

American Historical Association (AHA) has written a letter to the Vice-Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru University discouraging its plan to review Professor Romila Thapar's status as an emeritus professor. "Professor Thapar is a distinguished scholar, deeply respected by historians on many continents," it added. The AHA claims to be the largest association of professional historians in the world.
