Don't smoke while working, even at home: Japan's largest brokerage firm tells staff

Japan's largest brokerage firm Nomura has told its employees not to smoke during working hours, even if they're working from home, in order to promote their health. The firm issued a memo saying the new policy is effective from October. Nomura won't monitor or punish its employees as the rules will be based on mutual trust, spokesperson Yoshitaka Otsu said.
