Don't use complex Urdu & Persian words in FIRs: Delhi Police chief

Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora directed staff not to use complex Urdu and Persian words while registering FIRs, diaries or chargesheets. In 2019, Delhi High Court asked police to not use complicated words, saying, "Police...isn't just for people who have a doctorate degree in Urdu, Hindi or Persian." Words like intezaam, mujrim, asliyat and inteqaam were highlighted in the notice.
