Don't use places of worship for propaganda: EC to political parties

The Election Commission has asked political parties and religious leaders to refrain from using places of worship for propaganda during the General polls. It asked them to not indulge in activities that cause tension between different castes or communities. This comes after BJP requested EC to appoint special observers at mosques to prevent attempts to "polarise voters on religious lines".
